Dear BAMA:
If you intend to modify "dirty city" with the pluralized adjective, the word is "their," not "there." Also, try "embarassed (as in ass) in front of" in lieu of your preferred spelling, "embaresed infront of." Although a Canes fan, I'm sorry to refute your stereotype since I'm not a Spanish/thug. My native language is english. What's yours?

As for StrongCleanWhiteMan's comment about how we duck the SEC, I give Tennessee credit because it was the only SEC program willing to accept playing us on a home-and-home basis. Before the Swamp Creatures agreed to play us home-and-home earlier this decade, Jeremy Foley insisted on 25,000 tickets for Gator fans. Poor babies wanted to be loved!

BamaBoots,

Your memory is a bit hazy. You played a home game (practically considering easily 80% of the fans were Alabama fans) and got beat by 8. And the only reason it was THAT close was a late score with 3 minutes left. You think officials gave us two touchdowns? Fine, maybe they blew calls. You're allowed to gripe about blown calls - they've cost us two national championships (against Ohio State and Notre Dame). Of course two blown calls doesn't mean you win the game (with the exception I suppose of last second plays like us against Ohio State). There's no guarantee how a game changes - maybe we don't let you score your late touchdown and two pointer then, and the game still is a Miami win by 2. Nobody knows how the game goes if calls are changed. However, considering our offense went for almost 500 yards on your vaunted defense that day (and yours only went for 252), the only reason you were even remotely close was because of how sloppy we played, and a late score when the game wasn't in doubt.

It's unbelievable to see these gator fans, act and cry like their QB when reality HITS them in the nuts. The gators dont have the bling like the Canes do nor do they have a winning record against them. And they dont want to add to the losses by agreeing to play them again on a regular basis.......Foley contends that SEC schedule is hard enough so they can feel good beating 1-AA schools. When they do play a good SEC team.......they get humiliated enough for the coach to go see a Counselor and claim it was for dehydration. The one record that will continue in Gainsville will be with their players making the mugshots......Creyer will have to prove to the world that he was and still is an offensive genius without # 15 and Strong not being there to save his skinny posterior like his defense did so many times this season.

GladImnotyou. Crushed us in '89? You must be kidding. You beat us by 8 points. Bill Curry's last game. You fumbled twice. We recovered both and the official gave you the ball back both times. They gave you 14 points. Go look at the tape. Even the announcers say so. That game that was given to you makes you 1 and 10 against Alabama.
On top of that it was a Bear Bryant disciple that built Miami in Howard Schnellenberger.

StrongCleanWhiteManWithFamilyTreeThatDoesn'tFork,
You beat Miami in '92, congratulations. We crushed you in '89. I'm not really sure what either has to do with visiting the University of Miami. Have you ever actually stepped foot in Coral Gables? Or do you just assume the University of Miami is located in the Overtown section of Miami? Just curious, because frankly if you think Coral Gables has a lot of crime - well you should look at your own crime statistics.
(All numbers given are the amount times the national average to achieve city per capita crime statistics)
          Coral Gables Tuscaloosa
Murder .9 1.15
Rape .19 1.73
Robbery .72 1.28
Assault .53 .96
All Violent .61 1.17
Burglary 1.19 1.48
Larceny 1.53 1.62
Car Theft .88 .54
Arson .16 .0
All Property 1.38 1.45

So basically, beyond car theft (you guys do have cars there right?) and arson - Tuscaloosa has more crime in every category than Coral Gables. In fact, Tuscaloosa pretty much kicks the national average up a notch. And don't worry - these crimes are per capita, the fact that you have almost twice as many people as we do doesn't have an impact. Then again these stats are about five years old - so maybe everything flip-flopped and somehow drastically Coral Gables became a crime-filled cesspool and Tuscaloosa became a wonderful haven of goodness and cheer!

Oh and by the way - when we're counting championships do we want to count the ones you had pre-World War II? Pre-segregation? Pre-Woodstock? Right. Kinda figured you did. After all, if we didn't count all those - well you guys lost a lot of relevance in between then and now. But if we do then you're right! You did better than us when y'all didn't let StrongCleanBlackMen walk on certain sides of the road.

Hell I'd even take relevance in the last ten years - we've got one, you've got none. Maybe you can beat Texas and tie us.
