Q&A With Shannon Sharpe

Seriously....What?

Eight time Pro-Bowl tight end Shannon Sharpe parlayed a stellar 14 year NFL career into a commentator gig with CBS Sports. He sat down with us on Tuesday for a little Q&A.

13PSI - 3 super-bowl rings and 8 pro-bowls amassed over a 14 year NFL career. Could you have imagined that kind of success when you were playing receiver at Savannah State University?

Shannon Sharpe - unintelligible

13PSI - Uh, ok. You were the first tight end to amass over 10,000 yards in the NFL, yet you were passed over for the NFL Hall Of Fame recently in your first year of eligibility. Do you feel there is a lack of respect for the position?

Shannon Sharpe - unintelligible

13PSI - Huh? Uh, nevermind.. So, you are credited with turning the position of tight end into a legitimate offensive threat. How do you think your career would have turned out if Dan Reeves hadn’t convinced you to convert from wide receiver in 1991?

Shannon Sharpe - unintelligable

13PSI - Could you.. repeat that?

Shannon Sharpe - unintelligible

13PSI - Er..ok, nevermind…let’s move on. Many professional athletes have a hard time adjusting after retirement. Has your gig with CBS Sports helped in allowing you to remain close to the game?

Shannon Sharp - unintelligible

13PSI - Seriously, how did you get a job in broadcasting…as in…public speaking?

Shannon Sharpe - unintelligible

13PSI - Let’s say you make a call to a business and they route your call using voice recognition software….how does that usually work out for you?

Shannon Sharpe - unintelligible

13PSI - Repeat after me, “The quick brown fox jumps over the fence”

Shannon Sharpe - unintelligible

13PSI - Thank you and have a nice day.
